Health Benefits of Salt
We have been told for Decades that salt is the enemy and that we need to avoid salt at all costs, but did you know without salt we will die? Yes, our bodies Need Salt to function properly and our bodies have systems in place to remove excess salt if we eat to much.
Salt Actually has a myriad of benefits and sadly we have been told the opposite for so long. A proper salt intake helps to properly moderate our blood pressure and heart rate, improve our insulin sensitivity, improve our exercise and weight liftin and helps us sleep better!!
We do not need to fear salt if we are eating a meat centered, whole foods diet like Keto & Low Carb. For more information on the benefits of Salt I Highly Recommend reading The Salt Fix by Dr. James DiNicolantonio. This book was Very Eye Opening and it shows you how vital salt is based upon medical research, not on someone's opinion.
