Creamy Bacon Mushroom Sauce
This is a Great Sauce that goes well with many meats and vegetables. This would be great on Hamburgers, Steak, Chicken, Pork Chops or Pork Loin. It would also work well with Broccoli, Cauliflower or Fresh Green Beans (or canned). Use your imagination and make your own combination of meats and veggies with this Creamy Bacon Mushroom Sauce!!
1 TBSP Bacon Grease (or Olive Oil)
8 ounce Can of Sliced Mushrooms
6 slices of Bacon (or if you are like me then more is better)
1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
Cook the bacon in a skillet and drain the bacon on a paper towel. Reserve some of the bacon grease.
With the reserved bacon grease sauté the mushrooms (if you are making a this for a veggie you can sauté the veggie with the mushrooms). Add the bacon, heavy cream, Select Savory Seasonings, Sea Salt (course), Select Savory Pepper and California Granulated Garlic. Bring to a simmer until the sauce starts to thicken. Pour the mixture on top of the meat or veggie of your choice and Enjoy!!
